Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy aims to describe the management methods of the websites, second and third level, newsletters, services, and forums (hereinafter "Services") owned and operated by the company RFLAB (hereinafter "RFLAB") concerning the processing of personal data of users/visitors who consult them and/or are registered.
RFLAB processes all personal data of users/visitors of the offered services in full compliance with the provisions of Italian national legislation on privacy, and in particular Legislative Decree 196/2003.
1) To use the Services offered by RFLAB, the completion of registration forms may be required, containing fields for providing mandatory and optional personal data. The provision of personal data indicated as mandatory is necessary to complete the registration procedure; therefore, failure or partial provision of such data makes it impossible to register for the Services and use them. The provision of non-mandatory data is optional; therefore, their failure or partial provision does not prevent registration and use of the Services. The personal data required by RFLAB for registration to the Services may vary depending on the registration forms used.
2) RFLAB retains technical data related to connections (logs) to allow security checks required by the law and to improve the quality of the services offered and customize them according to the needs of users/visitors. RFLAB, in compliance with current legal provisions, records log files. Such data do not allow user identification except through a series of processing and interconnection operations, and necessarily through data provided by other providers. These operations may be carried out exclusively upon request of the competent Judicial Authorities, authorized by specific legal provisions aimed at preventing and/or prosecuting crimes. Temporary markers (cookies) are used on RFLAB websites, allowing faster access to the site. Cookies refer to informative data, active for the duration of the connection, transmitted by RFLAB to the user's computer for rapid identification. The user can disable cookies by changing browser settings; please note that this deactivation may slow down or prevent access to all or part of the site. The submission of personal data by users/visitors to access certain services, or to make requests via email, entails the acquisition by RFLAB of the sender's address and/or other personal data. Such data will be processed exclusively to respond to the request or provide the service and will be communicated to third parties only if necessary to fulfill the requests of the users/visitors themselves.
3) With prior express, free, explicit, and separate consent with respect to different processing purposes, by selecting the "Yes" box in the registration forms for the Services, personal data may be processed for sending commercial information, advertising material, and promotions related to RFLAB services and/or third-party services or products selected based on the data provided in the respective registration form. Consent for the processing purpose under this point 3) is optional; therefore, in case of refusal, the data will be processed only for the purposes indicated above. It will also be possible, after registration, to automatically and free of charge, object to data processing and not receive promotional and/or commercial communications while maintaining registration for the Services, by clicking on the appropriate link at the bottom of each advertising communication sent by RFLAB.
4) Personal data collected and stored in RFLAB databases are processed by employees and/or collaborators of the data controller as data processors. They are not disclosed or communicated to third parties except in cases provided for by the information and/or the law and, in any case, with the methods allowed by this.
5) The processing is carried out through automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data was collected and, in any case, in compliance with current legal provisions. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use, and unauthorized access. RFLAB cannot be held responsible for any unauthorized access or loss of personal information beyond its control.
6) The data controller is RFLAB, with its registered office at Via Giacalone 16 – 90047 Partinico (PA), which may use them for all the purposes identified in this notice. Users/visitors have the right to exercise the rights provided by Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/03. At any time, through the automatic cancellation link at the end of each communication, or by sending a request by post or email to the following address info@rflab.it, and by exercising the right to withdraw from all subscribed services, it is possible to request the total deletion of the data provided.
7) Right to access personal data and other rights under Article 7 of the Privacy Code:
1. The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of personal data concerning them, even if not yet recorded, and their communication in an intelligible form.
2. The data subject has the right to obtain information:
a) on the origin of personal data;
b) the purposes and methods of processing;
c) the logic applied in case of processing carried out with the aid of electronic instruments;
d) the identification details of the data controller, data processors, and the designated representative as per Article 5, paragraph 2;
e) the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may become aware of it as designated representative in the territory of the State, data processors, or persons in charge.
3. The data subject has the right to obtain:
a) the updating, rectification, or, when interested, integration of data;
b) the erasure, anonymization, or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data that does not need to be retained for the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently processed;
c) certification that the operations as per letters a) and b) have been notified, as also related to their contents, to those to whom the data was communicated or disseminated, except in the case where such notification is impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate use of means compared to the right being protected.
4. The data subject has the right to object, in whole or in part:
a) for legitimate reasons to the processing of personal data concerning them, even though relevant to the purpose of the collection;
b) to the processing of personal data concerning them for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or for carrying out market research or commercial communication.
8) In the channels of the RFLAB network, commercial advertising delivered and managed by external providers, also known as "Third Parties," may be displayed, which may collect information based on users' browsing through the use of cookies and use it to display personalized advertising while web browsing, also known as "online behavioral advertising." When viewing or clicking on an advertising message delivered by "Third Parties" while browsing the channels of the RFLAB network, the content of a cookie may be updated. The information contained in the cookie, collected strictly anonymously, may be aimed at displaying advertisements of greater interest to users, both within RFLAB websites and others. RFLAB ensures that "Third Parties," within the personalized advertising service, formally commit not to collect information that may allow personal identification (e.g., name, address, email, phone number, and sensitive data) and that the activity mentioned above is fully compliant with current Italian privacy regulations (Legislative Decree 196/2003) and the IAB framework regarding "OBA" (Online Behavioral Advertising).
